Does anyone know if there is going to be a conversion kit released by one of the many AM companies? I know Voyager released the skirt ERA and rear slat armor but I'm looking for the turret modifications...

Just wondering...

Hi Dave, I'm working to produce M1 upgrades as well as TUSK variations. No release date , as all things are still in the development stage.

Thanks tomapaul! I need all the prayers i can get!
If all goes well with the help I'm getting from two USMC tankers I recently know...then the kits that will be produced will be indeed VERY VERY NICE!

I was about to ask the very same question.

Maybe Voyager is releasing the rest of the TUSK upgrade later, too, but it's much better news that someone is working on a set for sure.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that everything works out for you with the set and even much more for it's availability here in Germany, then =)

Please let us know when there's progress.

Hi Nick,

if your looking for references on the M1 A1/A2 TUSK, check out Tankograd Militärfahrzeug
issue 4/2008. There are some page with pics, which might be helpful. According to this issue, a more detailed report is planned for one of the next issues. I you need deteiled informations, contact me per PM.

Johannes, Thanks I hope things work out too! As for availability--they will be direct from my website.

I'll surely keep you guys updated, as you can see in the link..https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/75248&page=3
I'm at the initial stage of my 1st Abrams "set". Jeffrey Nelson aka had been painstakingly designing and brain-racking each "part" to be as accurate or probable as possible-with dimensions taken in comparison to the actual M240 yoke he has access to. So I can rest assure that no effort has is being spared to get the kits "right"
After the 1st set of loader's shields, etc is done, I will follow up with TAGS and CSAMM and another "niche" set, and then the TUSK variants. Guess I'm saving the latest Abrams update for last.
You'll see a WIP for each set variant similiar to this:https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/116406&page=2

Hans, thanks for the heads up--I'll have to get that book! I've pm-ed you.

Hello Hans,

thanks for the hint, I'll get the magazine(s). But it's rather not the problem with the available reference pictures, but more with the scratching itself. The loader's shields with the armored glass are a problem to me. Although it'd be possible to scratch, it'd be a lot easier if there was an AM kit available. Yes, one could call me lazy
Anyway, there's a lot of other kits on my pile to be built so I can wait for the first TUSK upgrade AM kit to hit the market

€dit: Nick, thank you for your answer, too

Greetings from Augsburg,
Johannes.

P.s.: PM sent

Hi Darryl, they'll arise all in due time.

BTW, managed to work on the Centurion lately?
