Well, Imperium from Russia are certainly new to me... The company produce many of the usual WWII figures BUT also produce several sets with Soviet Partisans, Modern Russian Special Forces etc. The Report on the company''s product range, can be seen:

Some interesting stuff there Jim, or varying qualities...
it pains me to say it, but I think the German gun crew looks the pick of the bunch
A couple of the other offerings could do with some better paintwork methinks... Hard to get a real 'feel' for their quality...

There have been some pictures posted of Menelay's sculpts for Imperium over on planet figure over the past few monthes and I have to say based on those pictures of his work these figures are damn nice! I think he did most of the Afghan Russians and they look superb, the painting here doesnt really do them justice!

Those are some nice figures there. I really like the non-standard gear and look to the Russian SF guys. The tennis shoes are a nice touch. I love the Addidas running suit on the insurgent too; thats classic.

Yes some nice figures there but the Finnish Nurse looks very odd. I know a lot of Finnish women (Lucky me ) but I've never met one that shape.

Hey guys !
I got the Marauders and the Stalker sets and I can wholeheartedly vouch for the quality of the casting, the details on the figures and the subject matter. The resin used is pretty good too. All in all, a pretty worthwhile investment. Just my 2 cents worth. Cheers !

Some of the figures show awfull sculpted faces, but most of them are great! (The german watchman with real wood observation post is wonderfull!!!) The stalker is cool, too.

A nice series of figues but I guess you need to know a lot about russian/ soviet history. The only one I cannot figure out is the the smart highly decorated airborne officer carrying a 1970s vintage Samsonite (I own my father's old one). Is he a famous Soviet soldier? The 2 stalkers I suppose have been made to fit in a post nuclear diorama.

The Stalker figures are based on a character from the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R., which is based in (IIRC) the near future in Tchernobyl (sp?).

The "homecoming" figure is a "dembel", a senior conscript. See here for more info on the term: Dedovshchina
