Hallo, my armorama buddies. I've been a long time viewer of Armorama, but am a first time poster. I've developed an interest in military modeling about two years ago when I stumbled into a hobby shop, shortly after I discovered this site and I've become a pathological dio-builder ever since.
This is a 1/35 scale vignette of an Afrika-corps reconiasance group probing an English outpost around Siwiaa oasis.
Although you AMS types might assert that Siwiaa oasis doesn't have any doric/ionic columns. I promise you that they do, they just keep them TOP SECRET (its actually a curse bestowed from Ptolemy bequethed by Alexander to reveal them; see guys, this is the sacrifice im willing to make for you!)
further info is on my portfolio page: LINK
and now the images (they're thumbnails w/ links so you dont have to take up too much bandwidth; if you want me to display the full images in the forum, let me know):
kits used:
# Alpine:: Afrika Corps Panzer Officers
# Tamiya:: Sd. Kfz 222 Leichte Panzerspahwagon
# Verlinden:: Ruined Columns
Thanks for checking out my creation! There will be plenty more to come. Albeit the scope of this one is tiny, I usually work in a 12"x8" scope. You can observe some camera-phone quality shots on my website . (this was the only one that has been properly shot w a high resolution)

Hi Jacob
I reckon some bigger shots are needed, as I'm sure the ones presented even on your website don't do it justice...
I lie the fact that you have used such a stylish base to display your scene...
And thanks for your 'sacrifice'...

Very creative base, top secret or not the layout and composition make for a very cool diorama.
I'd be interested in seeing some bigger photos (potentially for a Model On Display feature).

gee, thanks for the quick and positive feedback. I didnt realize this alexandrian curse was such a big attraction, hehe (i have a pretty bad fever right now, so i think i'm a tad delusional at the moment)
due to popular demand, I've uploaded a set of links of unmitigated photos taken directly from the camera. (~2000px x ~1800px). I can resize them to the appropriate size if you want.
