As it says. Were the (individual) track links for the Universal carrier and the Vickers Mk. VI the same? If not, has anyone comparison photos they could share with me?

Also, on a similar theme, the components of the running gear on both vehicles. Similar or standard?

The Mk VI tracks are apparently designed for 3" wide road wheels, and the UC wheels while very similar are only 2 1/2" wide, except for the Australian and NZ produced Local Pattern carriers which also use 3" wide road wheels and idlers although the tracks for those are not exactly the same as the Mk VI tracks, however they can apparently run on the MK VI track too.

The tracks are of a similar design but not the same. The Mk VI tracks come in 8 link pre assembled sections and are joined by a track pin with some sort of clip or split pin. The LP track pins are retained by a lead plug instead.

Not a problem, and actually I made a couple of mistakes, I should have said 3 1/2" where I said 3", and the Vickers Mk VI tracks have 8 sections of track per side not 8 link sections.
