i've seen many reviews for the t-55 from tamiya, it's a great kit
but this tank would be too late (near the end of the vietnam war), because I would like to make an early NVA tank.

or maybe if you could tell me how to transform the t-55 to a t-54b ?

thanks
Jacques

Instead of using Trumpeter's kit, all that is really needed is to add the mushrom ventilator to the turret roof. THere are other differences, but they would require a whole new aftermarket turret, as they cannot be fixed without MAJOR surgery.

Hello Sarge !

From what I can remember, the trumpeter T54 - 55 line has problems with the deck, behind the turret... but that is just a vague memory.
good luck !

Panzershop released several T- 54 conversions and what I have heard about Panzershops´Resin conversions, they are in a very good quality. I have already ordered several times from Panzershop and I was pleased with their service.
