That's what I thought. Totally! The rarity of seeing ANY World War One photos which such clarity and then add color on top of that and then group a whole BUNCH in one site, I couldn't NOT post a link here! There are some sweet refs in the batch, for sure and I really hope they come in handy around Armorama.

By the looks of it they are probably hand coloured prints, not actual colour film photos. I may be wrong though - color film was introduced in 1907. So I wouldn't trust the accuracy of the colours precisely if you were looking for references.
Nice collection of photos though.

well, i'm having a tough time deciding if they were colorized or not actually. if they were black and white prints colored after the fact, the colorizer took far more care with them than is typical. I'm willing to believe they are legit color photos, given the limitations of the format at the time.
