I'm thinking about picking up Revll's Wolf, which I saw not long ago at my LHS. Can anyone tell me what color(s) I'll need to do the Austrian KFOR version?

Hi!
The correct color for an Austrian "Puch G" (the Austrian army doesn't call it "Wolf" ) is RAL 7013 (some sort of brownish green - unfortunately I can't tell you what the corresponding color tone is). Have a look here -> http://www.bmlv.at/waffen/waf_kfz-puch-g.shtml and here -> http://www.bmlv.gv.at/download_archiv/photos/international/galerie_uebersicht.php?currRubrik=117

BTW, I hope you are aware that you can't really build an Austrian Puch G out of the box? There are quite a number of differences - most prominently the rear seats. The German Wolf has two seats looking forward (in driving direction) while the Puch G has folding seats mounted to the chassis over the rear wheel houses looking inwards. There is also a waist-high dividing wall behind the front seats, a different canvas top, a different jerry can holder, etc. . If you need more information on the Austrian Puch G, just e-mail me ...

Greetings from Vienna,
Rainer

well i recieved the rust and smoke mig pigment set for me bday (yay!) and wanted to try it out,
so what i did was basecosated in tam Nato brown, painted on the vietnam earth pigment, and dusted on standard and light rust randomly, then i mixed a light blue grey to simulate some sort of primer, dabbed that on with a spunge then i dabbed a lightened nato green on, over the top was just random pigments,!!

after looking at a paint conversion chart revell 46 is a ww1 green, (discontinued tamiya paint,) but i would gear towards a kahki green?

In the past, Revell 46, Natooliv, used to be dead on for RAL 7013. They even used to advertise it as RAL 7013 for a while.

I'd go with that one

Oh, and RAL 7013 does look like a faded RAL 6014
