Iam starting work on my guntruck diorama, finally! But I need some help on making roads. The road is a hairpin turn think of it as a sideways "U" I need to know how to make the road start at one end with an elevation of about 5in. and as it goes to the hairpin trun and near the top its about 1 foot to 1 1/2 feet high.

The road is going to be going up a mountain, "An Khe Pass" Iam trying styraphone for the road, and then filling the gaps with chicken wire, and celluclay. Any other ideas?

thanks,
mike

hi you have all the base material you need in the kit , use the left over sprue to make an open frame work of the shape and style you want to just by cuting and glueing the sprue together , you can bend it or flaten it and raiseit ti what ever suits you . , you can make it as iregular as you like ,then cover in plaster bandage , then leave to dry and use normal plaster of paris to form ruts etc, gives you a light but very versatile base unit . great for trenches and hills or berms etc cheers ian
