Last week I'd reseved my Tasca Sherman II kit from Lucky Model, and what a great kit it is.
When i looked at one off the sprues ( sprue M ) I saw something that possebly could mean that Tasca is maybe working on a M4A2.
Looking at the rest off the sprue it even could be the direct vision variant.

What do you think !
Is this wishfull thinking or could this actually be something on Tasca's drawingboard.

Your thoughts please !

p.s. No clue how to place a image to show what I mean. Sorry.

Pat McGrath's in-box review:

Sprue M is image 17. I do not see anything that jumps out and says, "M4A2", but my curiosity is piqued.

I love the antenna base with basket on that sprue. Etch ones are a pain to assemble. I'll still use etch for mine, but I appreciate finesse when I see it.

We can keep our fingers crossed. It's clear that the sprue layouts seem to be designed for maximum efficiency if they decide to release other Sherman variants...

@ Doug,

Check out Sprue M in the link you placed and look at the 2 stretched discs above the air intakes. These discs are for closing up the hole when the air intakes are not used.
This feature was only seen on M4A2's and early M4A3's.
These small stretched discs are the reasson wy I think and hope Tasca is going to bring out an M4A2 / Sherman III.

@ Roy,

Just some extra parts in case off ? You could be right though !

Gr, Frank.
