I'll bet they have no problems with their tank turning over in the morning.
Bummer.

Well,
the longer I look on the picture, I get my doubts if itīs rather a German Leopard 1 with add- on armour than a Canadian Leopard C2
German beer causes similar trouble...

One Leo C2 - 2.44 million dollars
One day of training at the military camp - 1,000 dollars
One tank drivers helmet - 200 dollars
The ability to drive a tank over a narrow revine - Priceless!!!!
OOOPS

Well...considering who the pic is from.....I would have to believe that it is a Canadian C2, as this is what he does for a living....(well I don't know specifically, but I know he is CF).
And judging from some of the up close pics I have of the C2s, this is definatly a Canadian tank!!

It is definitely a C2. The clue from this angle is the drivers periscope cover. Only Canadian Tanks have the full width cover rather than individual episcope guards. I did not take the picture. However, I got it from an SSM in the RCD.

Yes this is a Canadian Leo C-2 of A Squadron 12 RBC based in Valcartier Quebec. This happenned only about 2 weeks ago in the training area here in CFB Gagetown. The driver was going a little too fast and couldn't make the turn and sailed over the road at a high rate of speed (there were no tracks in the dirt on the side of the embankment). Fortunately no one was seriously injured, just a little shaken up. God bless the 12 RBC for their entertainment value.

Sounds like a Montreal driver.
