Are they any good? Opinions on the "'99 Kosovo Conflict" set?

Cool, thanks. I did find a review which effectively said that kit in particular was as good as current DML new generation. Don't know if that's a stretch or what but was certainly a positive, especially for the price.

ICM figures are okay, not as good as Dragon Gen 2 figures, but decent. ICM reboxed the same few figure and vehicle kit sets in different combinations with different box labels to make their kit line look larger than it really was. On the plus side, the combined kits were much cheaper than the sets were individually.
Those molds are mostly owned by Alanger now, as the first incarnation of ICM went broke. They reorganized as ICM Trading, and have now been releasing new kits, like the Panther D and Studebaker truck.

Poo...already purchased them. They came in the mail the other day and I had a look...well, I'm no expert, but they seemed only so-so and had a ton of flash on the weapons. Their saving grace was that they were cheap as sin ($4.95 + $2 S/H) So, who makes a decent set of modern Russian troops? Looking for some guys (soldiers) to eventually sit on my Miniarm T-90.

How's the Zvezda Modern Russian Special Forces set?

Mike,

I don't suppose you'd be interested in reviewing the set for us? Might help future potential buyers of the kit...
