What would you have to remove or add to a reguler AFV Club Stryker kit to make it a vehicle used during training in the US?

I want to make a scene like this with one vehicle.

Straight out of the box would be sufficient for a live fire range. In a training scenario you’ll need to get a flash suppresser for the .50 cal. You could also add on a MILES system, you would have to scratch build that. Some one here did one, I think Brent did…not sure. If using the MK 19 Grenade Machine the rounds (head) would be blue in a training scenario. You could also add one the blast panels, most units left them on after returning back from Iraq. I doubt you’ll see cases of water like the ones used in Iraq, but you’ll find some gear and a box or two of MRE’s.

Stryker with MILES in training. You can see the belts with the laser receivers on the front and sides, and the yellow CVKI (Combat Vehicle Kill Indicator), a.k.a. Whoopie Light, on the right rear.

You can also add the blank firing adapter Joe is talking about to the RWS .50 cal. machine gun as seen in this picture (Korea training) :

The BFA comes in a few kits. Trumpeter's and Italeri's Abrams kits have the parts to add to a standard .50 cal. Academy's M113 kits come w/a .50 cal with them already on it.

I stand corrected...I mentioned that Brent made the NTC Stryker, after looking for the post I found that it was built by Robert Burik. I'd would have linked the post but after looking at it all the photos were deleted. Sorry Rob...

Here are a couple of pics of my Stryker Joe mentioned. There is more to the MILES than just the belts and BFA. There are metal plates on all four sides and some wiring at the corners too.

Let me check. It is a Tamiya airplane color. I will let you know.

I guess I can't find that color for now. It really is not important. There are many paints that can get you close and once you start weathering and shading and highlighting that base color changes anyway. I'm sure others can chime in on their color uses.

The big white thing is a Warlock anti IED device. It has a magnetic base so can go just about anywhere on the vehicle. A wire goes into the vehicle. On my model I have the wire going into the nearby airguard hatch. I have seen some vehicles with two of them.
