Hello out there. I'm looking to build an AN/MLQ-40 Block I Prophet humvee and I've been looking out there and there isn't a kit so does anybody have any advice as to which humvee kit could most easily converted into a M1097A2 w/ the rear shelter. If you're not familiar w/ the prophet, here's a pic. Thanks for the help.

Welcome to Armorama James ! A good start would be using Pro Art hard top conversion set and Tamiya's HMMWV kit :

Won't work....picture on the box shows the side hatch opens down while the real picture shows it opens up!

Thanks for the suggestion Frenchy. I think that will be a good place to start and will eliminate the need to scratchbuild the hard top.

Very interesting humvee varient Ive never seen before. I gotta ask a civillian question though.........whats it used for??? Communications im guessing???

The side hatches are separate pieces and can be placed to open either up or down. Also, it is the only hard-top conversion, not really any other choice. I have it, and it is a very nice set.
