Hi All, I'm progressing well with my M577 Vietnam build, and have started detailing the interior (which is mostly the parts from Academy's Zelda) but I'm in need of the interior decals for the "Danger - Monoxide Gas" placards on the engine access bulkhead inside the main crew compartment -
the Zelda does not have them... If anyone has spares, please PM me and I'll arrange for payment/postage/recompense as required...
Many thanks
Richard
PS, this is the main placard I'm talking about, plus any of the other smaller warning notes would be a bonus...

Richard,
I have either the Tamiya M113 ACAV decal set which just has the large white stars missing or the decal set for the Academy M113A1 vietnam which has more and better looking internal decals and only the 'burn baby burn' decal missing.
I'm happy to post either or both to you if you PM me your address and I'm not worried about any payment, just happy to help.
David

Mouse house used to do a sheet of decals for the M113 Family of vehicles in Australian service circa mid to late 90’s. It would be perfect for you as it has the monoxide gas warning placards in 2 sizes, they are more accurate in the font style as well than the academy kit option.
However when I went to their webpage today I could not see it. Perhaps email them?

As for the yellow warning label try Eduard. I used some of their HMMWV coloured photo etch set recently to fill the inside of a M577 with coloured warning labels.

Mike - I was thinking about buying some Decal paper - but I've never tried it before - is it easy? We have a colour inkjet and a B/W laser at work, or there's a copyshop just down the raod which will do colour Laser...
If you have the sheet I'd love a copy - I doubt this will be the last 113 variant I make - getting kind of hooked on them...
I'll send my details PM
Thanks so much!
Richard

Rich
It is very easy. If your hobby shop carries them great. I prefer the standard sheet size and but my paper on the net.
If you have a printer that can print ~ photo quality, your set. After you print them. they will need to be sealed. I use a flatcoat since everthing else is flat. Once it's dry (I would wait 24 hours) you are all set.
