Good in depth review Alan. I picked up this set at Euro and really like the figures. The alternate head is a great idea. I also like the moulded on rope on the rear stowage.

Hi Pat,
Yes, first new carrier crew in 30 odd years, of course you could use them else where too but I'm hoping we might see a new commander and driver too.
I liked the idea of the crew and stowage mixed in. and alternative heads are always useful.

Found this on the IWM site while looking for something else- they're in a Loyd Carrier but a good pic:
Guardsmen of 3rd Irish Guards in a Loyd carrier, wrapped up against the clouds of dust, during Operation 'Goodwood', 18 July 1944.
Are they wearing overalls or is the pic reversed?

Hi Guys,
An update on the set. A few things have come to light as I'm working on tthe T16 at the moment.
These two crew members are out of scale, at least they look that way to me, now I have some paint and heads on. I think the problem lies in the legs that are to thin and short. Resicast figures tend to be of slight build but are normally well with in acceptable limits.
Here they are beside the carrier driver who fits well with the carrier.
I know the T16 is bigger than the U/C but they look child like when placed on to it.
Out with the saw I'm afraid.
Also a point on the stowage. If you intent to fit the towing hook then the extra bulk stowage will not be necessary. What would be useful would be a couple more 6pdr ammo boxes.
