Here are some photos of my finished T-72B. This is a Revell T-72M1 with a Modelltrans T-72M2 turret. From forum feedback, it sounds like the designation T-72B is more appropriate though. This is only my 3rd armor model and 1st Russian/Soviet subject. It was only on doing further research after I had finished assembly that I realized there were some inaccuracies. Next time I’ll do the research before I start assembly. It was a fun multi-media build.

Wow, very nice Erik! I've been waiting to see it. Great job and don't sweat the inaccuracies as long as you had fun building it!

Always astonishing what for results the colleagues of the braille section get out of such tiny models...

Well built, accurately painted details (road wheels, smoke launcher, tow cable), carefully washed and realistically weathered with pigments.

"...I realized there were some inaccuracies."

So what?

Great model!

Great Job Erik. There may be innaccuracies, but for a 1/72 kit you did a great job and it is hard to expect 1/35 (or 1/16...or heck 1/1) detail on something so small without a LOT of work, so I would not knock yourself too hard about it.

For your next Russian build ( ) remember that the tow cables probably would not be strung up on the rear fuel drum supports...they have holders on the hull for them, to keep them out of the way, like on the front glacis. Not saying it could not be that way, just that it is uncommon to see that. No biggie.

I woudl rather end on a positive note, so good job again. Better than anything I have done in 1/72.

A superb build topped with a great finish. The weathering is most convincing

Cheers
