are their any article on armorama on weathering buildings, are their any techniques used, or can i just use the same as if i were weathering a afv?

it depends on the effect you want mate! what kind of buildings and what condition, ruined etc ?

I use the same techniques as for AFVs, but with more contrast for the drybrushing, after all even a smoke-blackened brick is still pink/red inside. Also a lot more small-brush work for detail such as scratches in plaster etc.

the techniques you mentioned are probably the best way to weather buildings,
if in doubt go with what you know!

depending the building condition you can use or not the same way as on afv.
i found that the easier and natural way is to use pigments (specially for the ruined-dusty buildings, rubble etc)
i use for weathering oils, diluted with terpinol (turpentine?), for mat effect
