And now for a change of pace, I did a small scale Panther. This is Dragon's Panther G with Achtung Jabo crew. Very nice kit, the zimmerit is well done and the engine bay detail is a nice bonus. Built box stock aside from some brass sheet to replace the schurzen. The crew figures are stunning for 1/72 - they are literally scaled down 1/35, with separate arms, legs, torsos, and heads. Tricky to paint though! Only thing left to do is flat coat the figures once the oils dry.

Fantastic job, especially those figures!

You might want to consider relocating the spare track hangers on the hull sides a bit higher - they are too low. Also, the schurzen were pretty thick in 1 to 1 scale - they would be torn off before bending up like that.

Just my 2 cents.......

No, it's called applique armor! This is great work in a small scale. My 1/73 wargaming figs never looked that good.

I'll second Dani's qoute on the figures, they're great looking. Still trying to make my figs look like that, yours are an inspiration.

Yes, excellent job on both figures and vehicle.
Schurtzen smertzen, accurate damage or not the effect looks good!

My one bit of advice: does your camera have an 'Indoor Lighting' setting? If it does it will brighten up the pics and take away the yellow haze. An 'Automatic' setting doesn't quite do the trick. Or see if there is an incandescent or florescent mode.

Again--beautiful work on such a small scale.
