Hi all,

im pulling together everything needed to build the M4 Dozer tank, DT-7 as illustrated in concords "US ARmord Funnies", and is on a Bison decal sheet (35030). However, i started looking for some references, and so far I am only able to find that there was Dozer tanks from the 70th on Utah, but when looking up info on the 70th (including Zaloga's D-Day Tank Battles, by Concord, and several D-Day books i found on Google books), i can only verify that there was 3 companies..A, B, C. No "Delta" company mentiond anywere. Acording to these sources, C co was the only one with wading trunks...so what happened to D? were they spread out and assigned to other units, so dont show up in the various D-Day books?

The tank has some neat markings, i just want to verify that it existed!

Thanks!
Andy

Andy: Yes DT-7 existed along the lines of what Steve depicted. I have seen a photo of it. Steve, as I'm sure you know, is a good stickler for detail and he captures the features correctly.

Gday Andy
I think I have read somewhere that the DT-7 basically stood for 'Dozer Tank-7' believe it or not...

Regardless, the decals are accurate based on Bisons take on Steve Zalogas take on the real thing...

A still

Should prove to be what you are looking for, inclusive of some stowage.

Brad
::EDIT:: Apologies, but have just realised the fallen GI in the foreground is in quite a state... Overlooked this until right now

At the time, the D Company of Medium Battalions was outfitted with Light tanks, that is M5A1s
The few remaining Light Battalions had no D Company

All, thanks for the picture and infomation!

Anybody know of a good source for the dimentions of the T40 "wiz-bang" rocket lancher mounts? Note that DT-7 had these.

any ideas what is on that stowage? looks like some ammo tubes up top, and maybe a 5gal can on the rear. Ideas what all the folded items are?
