Accurate Armour is the only way to go with this beast. I don't have the kit, although I would love to get one. There is a scratch built on in the Missing Linx gallery. I have seen the real McCoy at the Patton Museum and it is HUGE. One of my all time favorite tanks. Don M.

Don's right, only AA make a kit. All resin, I would guess that the thing is HEAVY, probably in scale proportion. I've got to think that Keith Laumer had at least seen pictures of this monster when he started writing his "Bolo" sci-fi tank stories.

Hi Koings!
Modelkrak released models of the T-28 tank.
Both 1/72 resin pieces.
Here you have a link to the site where purchasing of the T-28E kit is possible:

I built the 1/6th scale t-28 model. The model is scratch built and is not a kit. I have the AA kit and it is a very nice piece. The only aftermarket item that I added to mine was AFV club M26 workable track links.

ICM makes a good T-28 (kit no.35052).You can find good in-box reviews of this particular kit on the internet...and FINESCALE MODELLER magazineVol.23 Issue 2 also has an in-depth build article that points out many places to watch out when building.....hope this helps..(I have the kit in my stash )

Jim, He is refering to the American T28 Super Heavy tank prototype, not the Russian T-28 tank . That said the ICM kit is a nice addition to your collection. John

Thats a good question, id love to get this kit but i can never find out where to get one.
Guys,
If you can't source one locally, you can order one direct from Accurate Armour in Scotland (be warned though - it'll definitely reach you in the end, but these guys aren't the fastest shippers in the world).
Go here:

Not cheap, but for a T28 super-heavy it's currently the only game in town. It's 1/35 scale.
SWMBO bought me one for my birthday this year, although I haven't started it yet. It's a very serious kit and not for the faint-hearted!
