Looks to me like this thread has turned into a p***ing contest.
One nation's policies are not necessarily the same as another nation's. Which is why a Canadian Leopard is not the same as a German Leopard. And a British Sherman will not necessarily be the same as a US Sherman. They get outfitted differently, and because the crewmembers are coming from different walks of life, they're going to modify them differently. That shouldn't be rocket science, should it? Oh, yes... and let's us not forget the little statement which is oh, so true: "There is an exception to every rule."
I'm sorry if this offends, but the slamming each other and trying to imply that somebody's talking through his hat and doesn't know anything has killed this thread for me, and probably for several others. Gentlemen, a true expert on any topic knows that there may be more to learn.
