To strap or not to strap is my question. I'm modelling it without the tanks on the side in place. Looking at T-34 photos, I do not see what happens to the top straps. Are they removed completely? or do they hang down like leather? or are they like a tin strap that stands up in the round shape?
Any knowledge or photos appreciated

I found this completed model on Track48.com and I think this makes sense. Maybe, it will help others.
