Hello I'm building an old AEF 1/35th scale M3 75mm Pack Howitzer for the Airborne campaign. I need to know does any company make the ammo for this gun. If not does any one know what the scale size & colours would be so that I could scratch build some.
Building for My pleasure & hoping others like what I build.

Best bet for ammo is Tiger Model Designs U.S. 75mm Howitzer Ammo (#353155). You get 6 sprues that have one each of four different ammo types and two empty casings. Their U.S. 75mm Ammo Packing Tubes (#353151) gives you five sprues of five empty tubes each. There are no boxes however.
Resicast also includes ammo with its 75mm howitzer along with cloverleaf bundles.
Both are very good reproductions that are in scale.
There also is an old Verlinden set that is out of production that includes boxes, but I can't say how accurate the boxes are (I'm researching that info for an article for my website).
Hope that helps.
Tim

Hi Tim Thanks for the reply. I have a value box of Verlinden 75mm Sherman ammo & I was wondering if that was the same ammo as the Pack Howitzers. It comes with an assortment of rounds & 2 different sized crates. Verlinden #1111 .

Hi dave Nice looking kit . it looks a lot better than the old AEF kit I'm making, I've got to do a few repairs to some of the kit pieces as a few are broken or missing. You'll have to get it finished.
