Hi everybody ... this is one of my latest dio depicting an abandoned T34 in a factory ruin somewhere in Leningrand ... I used the amazing kit of hobbyboss with some improvements... everything else is scratch...pigments were used for both the kit and the base...enjoy it and more details will be posted later on today !!

Apostolis, no comments apart from that it is absolutely stunning. Words frankly fail me... Thanks for posting that - great way to start the day!

WOnderful vignette....the look is very real to me, very original and nice composition!
I like also that it is 1/48!!!! A good example that this scale could be perfect for dioramas!!!
I hope you will add more stuff under the tracks and wheels to give a "weight" sensation!
I cannot wait to see it finished!!

Yes, very good point. Though had Mig not metioned it, I wouldn't have noticed.
Something to keep in mind for your next dio.

Techniques are great in 1/48th scale. Wonderful skill.
Composition is wonderfull and 'makes' this diorama. The position is believable, the portion of the building makes it feel larger than it is and gives a location without having to think.
Well done.

Thank you all for your comments....(i feel a bit embarassed to be honest)
Regarding the tracks , there are some debris underneath (thats the reason they are a bit ''wavy'') but they cannot be seen in the picture !!! i ll look more into it though...
another thing that cannot be seen in the pictures is the range of colours on the tank which is more than you see (but my photograph skills and my camera are a bit crapy at the moment)
Mr Mig: your work was the inspiration for this, and both dio and the tank were finished with lots of MIG pigments (and other techniques mentioned in FAQ)
Mr Rae : if you like it so much there are more coming.....now

Nothing else to say except "superb".
Greece seems to me to be a hotbed of modelling talent (there are some really gifted Greek figure painters over at HF), but sadly with a much lower profile than the "Spanish school" or the "Belgian school", for example.
