Hello,

I actually was about to get Griffon's Slat Armor package. But a last comparison between the named set and Voyager's offer showed something I somehow overlooked all the time though it's quite obvious.

Take a look on the marked spots.

Griffon:

Voyager:

So what's the deal here? Why doesn't Griffon have the additional armor plates (?) here and Voyager have? Is it just not attached and though included in the set (I don't think so...)?

Would be great if anyone could help me out.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Johannes
you should look to this thread
All you need is here

And if you are still wondering,
In irak there is no stryker without SLAT. STRYKER WITHOUT SLAT are present in USA GERMANY and KOREA.
Cheers

Miloslav,

thanks for the link, I know your thread (as I've posted there), but it doesn't help in this question. I want to know if these parts are included in the Griffon set at all.
By the way, do you plan to post an update in the next time?

Sebastien,

this thread's also familiar to me, but same as above, it doesn't help in this case. Sorry that I haven't posted this question in this thread, I just forgot about it.
And no offense, but I'm well aware of that there are only "slated" Strykers around in Iraq.

Thank you two, anyway.

Johannes
No offense at all, just a joke between Gary and I.
BTW I am working with the PAM and it is similar to Griffon One.
Let wait for the post of Burik
Cheers

Hi Guys:

I don't have all these sets, but there is no 'extra' armor on the left front other than the small kidney shaped blast plate under the driver area. I think this is Voyager making you scrape some stuff off the donor kit and replacing it with these brass parts. Only my guess though.

Thanks for the answers so far.

Bob, that's what I've been coming to terms with, too.

Still, it'd be nice to hear from someone who owns the Griffon set. Photos or scans of the parts / instruction would be best, of course.

Thanks.
