Oh, right. I forgot to add that I used photo etched tracks from ACE. There was not easy to fit them on the wheels thus they are not as well made as should be ;-)
Cheers !

Hey Zbigniew,
you have just turned that model into a gold. It's just amazing, perfect for me!
IT looks better than many of 1:35 models shown on armorama. I wouldn't paint that beast, the paint will cover all tiny details and work you put in this piece of art.
Looks like very little amount of original ACE parts was used here!!
Great job!
Cheers!

Do you have enough pictures to provide a build feature on this little beauty?

Yes. Here is the story about it:

A truly excellent job, and in 1:72 to boot!
Thinking about all those tiny parts makes my eyes hurt, but it sure is some impressive work.

Thanks a lot for so many positive feedbacks!
Well, the building that was really enjoyable. I had 12 years break in modeling and I am deeply impressed with modern techniques: photo etched parts, glues, putty and resin casts. So this model is a kind of result of that fascination ;-). But in fact it was nothing extremely difficult. As you see e.g. the interior is very simplified: I did just important parts that will be visible trough opened hatches. Ok for outside I did much more than was offered by photo etched set but still - no magic behind. If you want I can write longer story about the construction. Most of the time I spent on thinking how to make the certain parts. I started this project last February but in fact I had long breaks due to some other activities (job, travels, family etc.).
Cheers

Daren, sure I will. Give me please some time. I was hoping to do that over the weekend but I had do spend more time with family. I was able just quickly put the base paint: a thil coat of Mr surface 1000 and black pain on the wheels and tracks.

So next week I will be busy at my job and then after I have to go for some days to Germany. I hope to find some time somewhere in between at least to start with it.
Cheers!

Yes. it is really very nice set: very accurate, detailed and fits perfectly.
However, I have heard that it does not fit very well with new Trumpeter.

That is really quite remarkable. I am building my 1st 1/72 scale kit, a Pz IV F, and waiting for the decals for a 1/35 T-55A so I can really appreciate the effort you have put into this magnificent piece f work.
