What is the best size of strip styrene for scratchbuilding Stryker slat armor?
Also, what is the actual length in between slats on the stryker
Thanks,
Evan

I think that others have posted in the past that if you use the correct thickness of styrene for slat armor, it will not support its own weight and will sag. You would have to look up past threads to be sure.

In my opinion scratching slat is much too complicated. The cost of a PE set is worth it. It will be correct, and save lots of time.

Looks like you can do slat in plastic. Sorry, faulty memory on my part.

I'm just building the small section that goes above the top of the rear door, so there is no need for a whole PE set
Thanks for the info guys,
