Putting the end to a story we''ve been covering for a few months now (at least until we do the review), here''s the final part with images of the Sprues for Trumpeter's impressive looking large-scale model of 00906 - Sd.Kfz.182 King Tiger with Henschel Turret (Limited Edition). The (large) photo-report, can be seen:

The box art is one of the nicest I know. And after having seen all the pictures / sprue shots, I wish I had ordered one. Of course there'll weak spots and stuff, but all in all, it seems like Trumpeter did a pretty good job on this.

If I had a wish to make, I'd wish for a 1/35 scale Tiger II with full interior as a shrink from Trumpeter's 1/16th offer...

After checking with an online retailer I pre-ordered mine.

The price they gave as the standard retail is 395 Euro, but their own price is 335 euro.

Which in comparison to the M-16 GMGC is very VERY good, I must say. Still not a cheap kit, no sir, but this kit is one I have dreamed over for decades.

IIT'S COMING! IT'S COMING!

My online hobby shop informed me the container with the kits is due earlier than expected, probably 15/16 December! YAY!! Got to get my hobby room ready than! I wanna get started on this one ASAP! Plus finish all those others!

And even better news! The kit if I pick it up at their store, will be rebated even further, only 300 euro!! WOW, talk about a festive month!

Is there any rumour or insider news about any aftermarket PE sets coming for this beast?

I can imagine having a field day adding lots of bits to the inside from extensive PE-sets.

This one is going to be the supreme KING of my model collection.

You're a lucky man Herbert.

I guess after you receive it you'll be MIA from here for a while, huh.

Well, I plan to have it feature here in a build log, so I won't be MIA.

But I first need to get my hobby room ready, I've not touched a single piece of plastic in over a year, too long a hiatus!!

Yeah, I know De Lancier, tiny shop, haha.

And wow, 265 euro is a bargain! Nice going, Stefan!
