awhile back i post some very bad pics of this model i have some now that i think are better to post so here it goes. there are about 40 figures some box stock some head conversions some arms and other stuff some outty owrk on them as well. the flamethrower is my doing it is super glue rolled in baking soda on top of a thin stiff rod. the water spout is also rods covered in this time window foam(the kind that keeps air out of old cracked trim around windows). then covered in durhams water putty. the groundwork was raised on the top it was to flat for my taste , added some groundwork to the beach as well. if you have any questions please fill free to ask. hope you enjoyhttp://gallery.kitmaker.net/data/22464/thumbs/9184.jpg

This is 1:35 right? You've posted it in the Large Scale (1/16 plus) category.
It does look quite good, but to be honest we'll need some better pictures, plus a few overall shots.
Modelling dead soldiers effectively can be quite difficult, but you have done it quite well. Lots of action in this dio!
One negative, there seems to be quite a few men in close proximity to the flamethrower. In reality the heat coming off that thing would fry anyone too close.

Rick ,
this looks realy good , I find it difficult to get a group of a couple of figures looking right , from what I can see you have achived great things with 40 odd figures all interacting well , it looks like absolute chaos , very good , also you have handled the casulties very well very difficult to do this tastefully
thanks for posting the pictures,
Jerry

Nice dio. Very graphic and somewhat disturbing; but then, war is supposed to be disturbing, and sometimes needs to be portrayed. Good job. I especially cringed seeing the guy with the flame thrower dead. I recall reading a book about the war in the pacific and reading that the average life expectancy of a man carrying a flame thrower at Iwo was about 15 seconds as the Japanese specifically targeted them. Nice work!
