Sherman Periscope Question

Some of the new Dragon hulls allow you to use both the fixed (in the hull) and rotating (in the hatch) periscopes for the driver and radio operator. If the tank was buttoned up, would both of these periscopes have been in use at the same time?

It's possible but I don't recall any wartime pics of both being used simultaneously -- but certainly there's no practical prohibition about it as far as I can tell.
