Hi!!
Building my first 1:35 scale model, a SU-76M from Marquette!!!!!!!!!
I know now that I should not have used it as my first model!!!!
Anyway, I want to add a tarpaulin over the fighting compartment, and
I know that it use some straps and loops to fasten, but could anyone help
me with pictures or advice of how it is done in detail????

Yow, you did pick a bad kit to get started. You may want to set it aside for a while and try something else, then come back to it later when you have a little more experience. Have you fitted the tracks yet? If not, you may want to try before you go much further ...
About the tarp: Get some tissue paper like the stuff used to package shirts and other clothing from a clothing store. This is sturdier than facial tissue. Cut out a tarp that will fit the rear of the SU-76M, then dampen it with water and test fit it. Trim with some small, sharp scissors, then remove carefully and dip in (or simply brush on) a mix of white glue and water. Reapply, if you removed and dipped it. Allow it to dry overnight. Add straps, if you wish, with paper. Add PE or fine wire buckles to the straps, if you wish. Paint and weather when it is all dry. If you are concerned about his process, experiment with the materials before you try it on the model.
Hope this gets you started,
