Sorry If this is in the wrong topic but I don't know where to put it. I wanna model in lego the http://www.warwheels.net/AEC_DeaconINDEX.html. I want to make ver historicly accurate. Could someone post pictures of how it looks inside and what were the 5 crew man for? Thankyou in advance. Mod or Admin, please move this if it is in the wrong place.

Try here www.track-link.com. Open page click on gallery. On left side of page click on Greatbritian WWII. On page 1. Number 5 is a built model. Pics and info. At the bottom of the pics there is a discussion page also with more info from the builder. Hope this helps.

Well, as to how they looked, search for photos of British artillery in North Africa in 1941-42 and you'll see how, in general, these crews would look. Look for crews in action as parade ground appearance wouldn't last in the field. As for their jobs on the crew, if (and it is a big "if") the crew was at full strength a crew of 5 would generally be a driver (behind the wheel, of course for a quick getaway), a gun sargent commanding the gun & pointing out targets, a layer who aimed the gun and either a gunner, who fired the gun and a loader or two loaders with the sargent firing.
