I am curious to know if there are any companies that make WWI British artillery in 1/35 scale, whether it be in plastic, resin, or otherwise.

Thanks,

Nic

accurate armour make a 17-pounder, 4.5, 5.5 and 7.2 inch howitzers in resin, beautiful but very expensive, tamiya make a 25-pounder in plastic and did produce a 6-pounder but that was over 30 years ago so that one might be hard to find! sovereign 2000 make a 2-pounder in resin too.

hope thats helped

Nic, in 54mm, Hinchcliffe do a brit. ww1 18pdr, complete with the draught horses, I have actually painted one, but it was years ago, commissioned by someone. It's pretty expensive (naturally) you can take a look at www.skytrex.com Jim

Thanks for the replies. Jim, that 18 pdr was what I was looking for. I was mainly just curious because the city where I live was an "artillery town" during the First World War (I think three or four batteries went overseas) and my great grandfather was an officer in one of those batteries. Hey, maybe I could get someone to commission the work

Mountford Military Miniatures do a range of artillery pieces from Boer war onwards in white metal- sold through 4-mil models - I've done a few andd they're pretty good, though not as sharp as modern resin or plastic kits.
