I updated my profile and changed my rank from U.S. Army to Marine enlisted but it does not show when I post on to forums. Any thoughts on this?

you haven't earned your first stripe yet maybe? (that's a guess)
switch it to some other ranking that is officers and see if anything shows. If so, then maybe i am correct...

I know it takes a bit more posting to rise in USMC rank than in others. It's taken me since 2004 to get the three above and three below. Meh. Rank means little in the long run. It's just what ya like to look at when you post.

Is there a listing somewhere on the boards that says how many posts or what is required to get a ranking?
