Hi All,
A pleasant surprise at telford last weekend was the arrival of the new Tankette with "El Presidente" Gary Williams. Volume 43/6 is of course the last of the "little ones" before we change to A4 format in the New Year.
This is a smashing issue full of plans and information and covers a wide spectrum of interests in the military vehicle world.
Thus the new issue will be winging its way to you shortly via the postal routes, provided that you are subscribed. If you have not received your copy in the next week or so then contact Gary direct. Do not sit there waiting, the crystal ball is VORed at the moment and the Tarot Cards have a flat battery. If you have moved TELL US! Otherwise your precious magazine will become so much recycling paper.
As published in the new Tankette the subscription costs have risen to pay for the new size Tankette. Bear in mind that Tankette has been underpriced since forever, thus the change may seem a bit steep. Far from it, we have caught up with reality.

Got my copy of 43/6 towards the end of the week. Once again a big 'cheers' to Neil (and Tom) for the mag, and also to Gary for getting it in the post.
I liked the article on the Panther CLV, I wonder how long we'll be waiting for that to be out as a kit! Resin first I would imagine. The Schofield tank brings back memories of a series of articles many moons ago in tankette. I've yet to see one built yet though. Won't pass comment on the Euro Militaire article!
Am excited about how the new A4 mag will be. Despite the credit crunch these are still good times for AFV modellers.

As it was my first ever edition of Tankette, I was very pleased with what I got through the post!
Firstly, and bad punctuation etc is a pet of mine, the punctuation and general editing of the magazine was tip top. Often, a brilliant article is rendered unreadable or unintelligable due to bad editing and the accidental deletion of important tracts of text. Tankette is a very professional publication for all its humble beginnings compared with the modelling magazines whih we browse/buy at the newsagents, and I look forward to seeing it in its new guise.
Keep up the good work, regards Ian Armstrong (8508:O)
