hello friends, here some photos of the piece that I´m involved now. This time I try reproduce one of these alleys that you can see in the old down town of mediterranean city ( not only in Italy).I try also reproduce the little irregularity od the stucco surface with newspapers mixed with white glue.
cheers

Very good work Carlos. I look forward to seeing how the newspaper stucco looks when painted. The buildings will have steps yes?

Carlos,
Is that cork your using for the stucco texture on the window/door frames??
Very out of the box thinking if it is cork. Not only is it good for wine bottles and message boards, but you can model with it too!! Who knew!!
I'm curious on how your going to keep it from shrinking?? Very cool.

Hi Carlos,
Haha, are you the newest recycling center in your area?
I to want to see how you are going to turn the newspaper wall in an old stucco one. I am very interested!
Cheers

I love the complexity you have continued to build in to your projects. Each one by itself has been great, but as you have developed over the years each one gets more and more complex, adding buildings, adding stairs etc.
Very nice.
Very nice.

Pat, yes, still lack to build some step and the whole street.
Bryan, yes, the whole building is made of cork. This is glued to a cardboard structure. this structure gives rigidity to the group, the cork and the paper they are to give the texture.
Claude, if it was this way already serious rich, some person in my city became very rich with the recicliing : -)
Scott, thank you for your comments, it is a pleasure to show the works here
Jean, the paper this glued in on of the textured cork. This adapts perfectly to the ruggedness of the cork, attenuating this a little, the paper also adds its own texture to the group creating very interesting efects. In the pictures you can the result, the wall loses their monotonous texture. The process still this in experimentation phase: -) but I believe that good results can be obtained
