Hi Guys

Any idea for the interior colour of one of these beasts? i would assume the dash would be sand as per the outside, but what colour is the padding on the walls, and the floor/ceiling. Padding looks a light green/creamy colour from reference photos, but can't find any photos of rest of interior. Seats i know are black.

Thanks for the advice

As you can see in the lower right of this photo, the dash is indeed sand/buff colored. However, as with the Cougar, the interior is not as it is in prototype photos. This ballistic liner is smooth, not quilted as in the kit, and is black.

Rob,
The one that I have pictures of has quilted interior padding. The pictures were taken in August 2005 - I would guess that it was an early one, probably one of the first ones off of the line... I have one crappy picture of the interior that I took through the rear glass. The seats and dash are black and the quilting looks to be gray but it might be cream or tan...

John,
I agree that when they came out, they had the quilted padding. I think that experience quickly made them install the ballistic liner seen in my photo. Granted, I only saw four of them, but they all did have the same liner. The model as is might represent how they first looked in country, perhaps not. I'm doing mine for May 2008, which by then also had the bar armor installed. Whether I actually install that as well is another question. There are a few other tweaks that are going to be necessary to get it just right, but none too serious.

I think i'm gonna do mine with the quilted padding, i don't fancy removing it. That said it means i won't be able to do the Bar Armour that i planned, if that was only fitted to later ones.

Thanks for the assistance on this. I've submitted a review, and will post photos once i've progressed further.

I don't fancy removing it either. I'm just going to lay some .010 over it. John, PM on the way.
