Most of you guys are probably into static models but although I love building tanks I did end up getting one of those "Heng Long" (sp?) 1/16th scale Panzerkampwagens III because it looked so cool, and heck, it was motorized!

These R/C models are not the quality of the Tamiya build-up R/Cs of course...but they are 1 /5 th the price as well!

The problem I am having is I can't find anyone on the net who owns these and knows how to get the best out of them....

the tank and the Airsoft gun work fine--but the tracks keep coming apart and there IS an after-market set of tracks for about $65 but I want to talk to someone who has spent the big bucks and bought the metal tracks ...
to MAKE CERTAIN these would solve my problem...

Hi Tom, sign up here http://rctankhq.com/THQ/ and have all your RC Tank questions answered! Plenty of manufacturer representatives and experienced RC Tankers there at your disposal to learn the in's and out's and benefits of installing metal tracks and which ones perform best.

Most of the time the problem is one of track tension and the idler needs adjustment or replaced, being they are made of plastic.

I'm sure you will like the forum too!
