Got to stop doing these sherman as its becoming a habit

.
Anyway heres another one for yer,its the dragon sherman mk III.nice kit to build but i was a little scared of the photo etch track guards but i managed to do an ok job with the super glue

.All i have done weather wise is a few light filters and a heavy wash around the details such as weld seems and hatches/boltheads,ill add some sand color pigments later.
Hope you like
Karl

Good work, One thing though- you need to paint the two machine gun barrels.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi Karl,
Cracking job so far. Good work on the 'wings' on the rear. A few stone chips on the upper front hull would be a good addition as the rest of the weathering looks grand. 3 Crewmen and Bobs your uncle; with a bundle of stowage
Cheers

Back with a little more progress.
I have added 3 ultracast figures, painted the tools and machine gun barrels, just waiting on the stowage set to come.i also installed the tracks and used some gulf war sand mig pigments to the running gear and lower hull.
I have got the dragon commonwealth infantry figures so am planning on some sort of diorama, just need to find a desent base.
Karl

This is a very nice Build Karl.
I like it.
The sand has toned it down a bunch.
So did the British not wear head gear while driving around.
Strange think would make for some serious head wounds if a quick stop was to happen.
Also can this be painted "Pink" or was that the Other one only?
Thanks
Great build ,looks to be a very good kit.

Hey i love the sherman! I really like the bullseye you've put on the top of the turret...gives the german aircraft something to aim for!
I love the weathering tho, wish i could get my tanks to look like that. Good job.

Nice job on your Sherman Karl.I,m not into allied tanks but i do like your desert Sherman . You definatly have the desert weathering down pretty good.I'm working on a pzIII ausf N and will use your sherman as a good ref. when i weather the pzIII.
Keep up the good work.

Nice work.
You might want to paint some glass into those periscopes. I can't tell from the last group of photos, but in the first batch, the taillight lenses are also needing a bit of color.
