Possibly.............I am sure that would help feed my campaign addiction!!

I have looked at the Tamiya MP set with the motorcycle a few times. Maybe this would be the excuse I need to build it.

There was one a couple of years ago run by Paul Sonnemans (007) I never finished my entry so I'd be up for having another go.

Hopefully there will be more that will want to sign up for this one.

I have been looking at various kits and figure sets since you first proposed this campaign and there are some nice ones to chose from.

So lets just hope more people show some interest.

I would love to do this one. I was an MP from 1980-83. I could do the jeep I drove in Germany or the Dodge I drove at Ft Devens. Count me in

My Father-in-law came in late and stuck it out a while with the Constabulary Force in Germany. Maybe I could do something for him if this is included. Heck of a problem finding decals for this one. If it falls in the restrictions I'll sign up.

@hello Bob,
the Constabulary is allowed.if i remember right the enlisted men were called Troopers and the unit was the police force for the whole of Germany

Hi Bruce,

Am I the one being considered the "maybe"? Because I am a definite YES on this one. Sorry if I sounded unsure in my first post.

i don't know yet. If I enter I want to do something modern (not Vietnam or WWII). So if the Trumpeter M1117 comes out before the starting date I'm in. If not, I'm not in.

hello all,
we have 2 more in the yes column.that gives us 7 yes and 1 maybe.just 1 more yes and it will go out.
here is what i have been thinking about for the rules:
any nationally, anytime period.vehicles/figures/dio allowed.if you want to do a build for WW1 of the present conflict in Iraq thats OK,if you want to go back in History and do on on Roman Empire that is OK.yes they had MP's.as long as the build is about MP's it is OK.
i am making the rules as broad as i can, with no scale limit or TimeLine.i am thinking that the start date will be either Oct or Nov 2009.
so what do you think?
cheers,
Bruce
@Harv,
i kinda knew that you were a yes.

i think it should be a diorama lol

the little banner you get for completing it should be some handcuffs or a black emblum with the MP in white

hello James,
good suggestion on the banner.i was thinking that the ribbon might be white with small black stripes(jail cell) with MP in yellow in the middle.what do you all think?
i will ask Jim(goldenpony) if he will do it for me.he has done all my banners and campaign ribbons.his work is fantastic.
James, are you going to sign up for the campaign?it should be a good one.

i need to make a note on the rules, also allowed are AP,SP,etc.any type of a military police unit is allowed.
i gave MarkM a heads up about the campaign.i am sure it will be approved.
cheers,
Bruce

hello James,
no worries about the late suggestion.my pup got ahold of all of my research and a new model and i just got it all redone(i do not want the model back).the campaign will be submitted Wed,i just need to look at what campaigns are going to make sure it does not start on the same day as another one.you are right about the vehicles.
also should it be a stand alone with dio or a dio only campaign? i have been looking at the Airborne Campaign,it is a Dio only one?and there are some great ones being done.
i do not know which way to go.
all of you who wants to do his campaign, let me know what you think.
again, sorry about the delay.
cheers,
Bruce

To me I guess it doesn't matter if it is a diorama campaign or not.

For what I have in mind I would almost have to display it in a diorama or vignette anyway.
