Has anyone purchased or built this model? I am working on it now and was curious if anybody else has tried their hand at it. I still have a ways to go. I am still trying to learn all of the tricks of the trade since I have only been modeling for about a year. I would post a couple of pictures, however, I have not been unsuccessful in attempting to upload them.

A friend of mine has bild it. He is used to build very big and complex kits (Br52 1/35, Hobby Boss 1/72 Leopold, Elco, bronekater 1/35, 1/32 planes....) and....he told me that the Hobby Boss BR52 1/72 is the most complicated kit that he never built. Really complex and tired work, because sesm that is the same pieces layout than 1/35 BR52.
Obviusly, the same 1/35 kit....converted in 1/72 could be a nightmare.
Is for you the same???? what is your thoughts??

I am having a difficult time with resizing my pictures and getting them uploaded. This is the best that I can do for right now.

Ufffff, maybe it is HB 1/72....but ....to me seems 1/1 scale Locomotive, because the paint work is extremly realistic!!!
You are doing a incredible work. Please, continue it because it worth the time. I am shock!!

Here is the progress that I have made this week. Thanks to all who have left feedback and to all who will. I am happy with positive or negative feedback, I still have a long ways to go at improving this art of model building.

This is absolutely incedible work. I've seen some extraordinary models in 1/35th scale - but in this scale - utterly impressive!

Here are some pictures of the tender car that I finished about a month ago. Thank you Jim and Kerry for your kind words.

I'm not a big WWII armor modeler, but that is a very nicely build model and a very interesting subject. I never thought I'd see the day where armor modelling included trains. Of course I guess just about everything else has been "done" already.
Just might have to try one out for myself. Well, maybe when I've finished a few of the current "to build" pile.

I thought the 1:35 is hard but you’re putting me to shame.
Nice job.

Superbly done! Extremely realistic finish to all parts of it. Just for kicks, how much time do you think you have into the engine and the tender? At 1/72, I would go blind in 2 months!!
Bravo!

I do believe that I have put the finishing touches on my Br52 today. I still have to decide what kind of base that I am going to put it on. I also think that I will add a couple of rail cars to it. Personally I think that it looks alot better in person as I am not a very good photographer, if anybody has any advice on photographing your models I wouldn't mind hearing it. I didn't base this model off of any real-life photos or such (just the box) so as for accuracy, it probably isn't. At $40 it is definitely worth the cost, because it easily has five or six times more plastic than the typical 1/72 model. It took me about seven weeks to complete it, however, I think that I will take a break from it before I work on the tracks or additional rail cars. Thanks again to everyone who took the time to comment on my build. I know that I was not able to find any reviews on this model or completed versions of it before I started it so hopefully this will help others out there get an idea of what this model consists of. I would recommend this kit to anybody who would like a good challenge.
