I wonder if someone could help me. I am building a m1-a1 abrams and I am about to paint it with a desert camo. I wonder if somebody could tell me what base colour to use under the desert camo. Shall I use Nato Green as my base colour, or should I base paint it with some other colour before applying the Green? Nato green IS the right colour to have under the desert camo, isn't it?

Hi
I always like to put on a primer coat of white or light gray before I actually put on the first coat of the camo pattern. I think the rule of thumb for applying camo paint jobs is to work from the lightest color to the darkest color. Hope this helps.
