More Russian stuff! This is Alan's Su-76 kit - a little clunky in detail, but nice. I beat up the fenders a bit, added styrene strip fender braces, metal mesh on the grills, bent brass wire for the grabs, and a scratch drivers interior with engine- although you really can't see much if it!

It looks pretty good. I think that it could use some more weathering, especially more rust on the tracks, but that's really a personal thing. You've done a good job with a kit that isn't the best.
In the future, you should probably post this in the Constructive Criticism forum, you'll probably get more replies.

i think you've done a great job Mark, especially with the open top area. but if i was you, i wouldnt have put as much of the white weathering on it. if you toned it down a little, i think the tank would look much better.
btw, what scale is that thing?

Nice Job. Obviously took a lot of work and it is a subject I have never seen modeled. nicley done! I think the reason Scott wants to see more weathering on your tracks is because the exhaust is so heavily rusted. maybe instead of rusting up the tracks ( rust was continuously knocked or scraped off tracks ) is tone the exhaust down a little and that sucker l' be perfect. Not a criticism by the way. And when you are 100% finished you should post it in the costructive feedback zone... a lot of good feedback comes from there not just you should have done this, or i would have done that.

I have to agree with Trevor here, the exhaust could use a tone down, perhaps aseries of dark brown washes, but all in all you have a very good model here. I recomend a dark, dark brown wash on the tracks to add some depth and dirt, and think you could have scored a knock-out with an oil pin wash on the upper hull to make the rivets and access panels "pop" a bit. I do want to say this is all constructive feedback and that I am impressed with what you have done, good job and I look foreward to seeing some more work!
P.S. just a thought, but it may be worth trying a slightly different shade for the interior to highlight the seperation. The exterior would have faded a bit faster than the interior and using a bit of artistic liscence it would make the working area of the interior stand out. just my 2 cents.
