well since my first post worked out for me, may as well make another. this is a tamiya T34/85 with jordi rubio barrel, fruilmodel tracks, verlindin pe and resin update set, and an MB models resin turret. pick up the kit and turret at a yard sale for 5 bucks, wasnt in the best of shape as the hatches on turret were broken, and the barrel looked more like a pretzel than anything else. I added all the grab handles and tie down points from wire, and twisted up the tow cables out of wire too. now before the rivet counters attack, I KNOW the tracks are wrong, I mail ordered them, and after returning the incorrect sets back to retailer twice, rather than pony up the postage yet again , I figured that the third set was close enough for me. they are for actually for a T34/76 so if you wont tell anyone, I wont either.
thanks for lookin, and any comments are welcome.

Great work bender! I think the T34 is one of the coolest tanks on the scene! Sometimes they can look a bit bare, but this has nice details all over. That was a bummer about the tracks......... what are the chances that there was a model 85 with 76 tracks in reality?
Everything is looking good, the turret seems to have some nice weld detail. This should look great when painted. Hope to see more in the near future!

The T34 looks really great. I love the look the multi media look of this build. You have done well here. You workmanship quality is certainly evident in this build.

Looking forward to finished pics down the road.

Really nice looking tank you've got there. Just one thing though, do you know the tracks are the wrong type? I was only joking...... Honestly, you shouldn't have said anything, I didn't know and I doubt if 1% of those reading the post would have known either. One serious question, is this a post-war or late war -85?. Looking forward to seeing it painted up,all the best, Jim

I totally agree with this opinion. I think the T34 was the most ingenious tank of WWII. It was so primitive but it did the job so much better than all (well most ) of the German and American tanks put together.

Very nice bender, really neat building. I love the contrast between all of the various materials used in such projects and I always feel sorry when I have to paint them. Looking forward to see the progress...

Very clean and good looking build! You say you got your turret at a garage sale?! Man, I gotta move into your neighborhood, all we have around here are baby clothes and lawn mowers :-)

I also have to agree with Scoccia, I really enjoy seeing the "in progress" photos of peoples work, really neat to see all the different mediums on one model.

Still can't wait to see it painted!
