Good day all -
Have finished DML's Sd.Kfz. 2/2 kleines Kettenkrad, with the cable laying assembly. Built it OOB, painted in Tamiya German Grey (XF-63), using various Model Master enamels to pick out the details. Tracks are the kit's individual links, not too bad to assemble once clean-up was finished.
Didn't weather it too extensively, used WarPigs Faded Panzer Gray (017) to lighten up the basecoat color a bit. Tracks could use some more work (so go easy on them! HA!), but wanted to get it finished for the campaign before tackling the paint job for my King Tiger.
Here you go!
Any comments/critisicm welcome, please!
Thanks for looking.
Cheers -
Tim

Hei Tim!
Nice work you've done! Very clean build!
I would weather this (dirt)bike much more with dirt and chipping with a hang to the unrealistic, but that's just my opinion
I like the cable machinery (don't know the expression in English ) very much!
Have you used different shades of panzer gray?
Keep the work coming!

Hi,
Good clean build, nice basic paint. In my opinion I would have painted the tracks more. I would have darkened them more like steal vs. aluminum. I would also do a bit more weathering, if nothing but shadow washes.
Overall a good job.

You have a good model there, with some extra work it could be a great one as Scott said,

Minimally, you have to get those tracks darkened up.
Also, some cables on the handlebars and some paint or decals on the gauges will help.
