DML had some in their SWAT series a few years back. Both in the case and wearing them. They are still around though. Warren

The SWAT set only had one wearing the mask. And it probably isn't what you are looking for - it is the M17 series, which the US Army no longer uses.
DML's SAS set also has one head wearing a mask. It appears to be an S10. While not an exact match, it looks much closer to the M40 series currently in use by the US.
Either or both are yours if you want them.

What do you consider modern? A M17 or M40? What country? You might get a little more specific in your questions.
I agree 100%, being specific will get you answers.....you can always edit your question with more detail.
In the original question he was just asking about gas masks......Evan, are you just looking for gas masks or are you looking for figures with gas masks donned (wearing them)?
Evan was asking questions a while back here and on Tracklink about the JGSDF Type 82 NBC 6x6.....so probably not anything used by NATO.
Here is a JGSDF soldier in NBC gear.....from the Asia-Pacific Defence Forum.......

Ahh LeoCmdr your right it is gonna be used with my JGSDF vehicle.
I really dont care what kind of modern gas mask though, it doesn't matter to me.
Sorry, the reason I was vague was only becuase I thought I would get more response that way
Evan
By the way I am gonna do a diorama similar to this (from militaryphotos.net):

It actually makes providing answers harder.
Good luck with your project.

Here's another picture of a JGSDF gas mask :
caption : "Texas Army National Guard Sgt. Joel Hernandez, a combat medic with Houston's G Troop, 3rd Battalion, 141st Infantry, tries out the gas mask belonging to a member of the 39th Infantry Regiment, Japan Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF), Nov. 5, 2005, at Camp Iwate Training Area, Japan..."
