Good job on the zimm, it looks very convincing and well worn. I like the preshading too, I think your aircraft-method works better than the "prime the whole thing black" style.

I like your paint job,and a nice idea on preshading it red brown.
Did you use the Atak zim on this?as i have just orded some for my jagdpanther and wondered what it was like as iv only used cavalier zim in the past.
Keep the pictures comin.

Love the way the pre shading came out, really brakes the plain Dunkelgleb up. great stuff. The Pe looks masterful in the build log, will be watching with pleasure. Thanks Geraint. What zim have you used?

Yvan. Very nice job on this Panther. I will have to go back tomorrow and look at your build log. It is getting late.

That sir is one very nice Panther!!! I like the idea of using red-brown as the pre-shading colour instead of black when painting dunkelgelb.

Daren,
Indeed it would be a good idea, but my problem is that I don't have that much free time
Anyhow, I'll try to do something once completed

Great thread Yvan, nicely done Panther! Like your techniques, very suttle for each step which blends together nicely!
Thanks for sharing, looking forward to the 'finished project'. Nice!
Cheers -
Tim

Like the way you've captured the look of the grease spots, very convincing. maybe a little to many ramdom spots but they really do look great. Excellent paint job, difficult to make plain dunkegleb look so bizzy. Can't wait to see it finished. Cheers

I think this is just outstanding!! I'm iffy on those spots on the rear deck, I like them but not sure what they represent. Very nice looking Panther! Is this going to be part of the Big Cats campaign?!
