Is Luckymodel still alive ??
I ordered two items last week which where in stock and my creditcard was already charged that same day!!
Uptill now nothing has been sent, my order is still ''in progress''
They do NOT answer to my email, so I was wondering !!
Before I ordered last week I had contact with them about their annual Christmas sale and they told me that they first had to solve 'some internal affairs''
I sure hope they're not bankrupt or something like that !!

I asked myself the same question. I ordered a Panther and some barrels that were in stock. the next day they became available... sent an email to them got answer from... a Michelle (not Raymond or Sylvia). I don't know what's going on but their stock doesn't get restocked since long time. I have impression (I hope I'm wrong) that they sell everything they have on stock without ordering replacements or new products. It sounds bad.

Dear Gé Hovens,
Sorry for late reply as I think our CS is busying getting reply for each customer inquiry. We have not charged to any transaction since 18th Nov. So, if you get charged, please contact me.
We have no trouble of bankrupt or something like that, yes, we have some internal issue to be resolved (nothing to financial). Hopefully, we will have the matter resolved within coming week. We will put out public annonucement about what happended and all pending orders will be pushed to the pipeline.

i ran into a similar situation 3 weeks ago.... ordered a few hobbyfan & neograde items, paid for them, but still nothing after 2 weeks.
so i emailed luckymodel (it's michelle) and, after 2 days she replied that they have some problems with their banking/payment systems, and supposedly everything should be in order early this month.. AND the items i ordered had already out stock some time ago, which is not the case when i ordered them in the first place (i knew beforehand not to buy their' available' listed items). i was pissed at them for keeping me in the dark that i demanded a refund; she said it would take two weeks...
i had previously ordered from luckymodel many times, but this is the first occasion that i encountered such sloppy customer service from them
and yes, i had noticed that they haven't updated their stock for almost a month now...... that got me worried too...are they going to close business?

I was wondering what was going on too.. as their site seemed to be stagnant the past 3 weeks or so. No items added.. no updates or anything, which is strange for that amount of time.
Glad to hear things are being resolved.

Hello,
at the moment I suppose that it is more probably that LM's bank has got troubles and not LM.
Indeed their stocks run down and have not been restocked.
I have ordered Tamiya 6mm tape refill only which has come to totally 1.50 USD.
A small order, placed and paid on November 14th but its status is still indicated as "available".
I have got another current order I paid on September 3rd.
Most items were shipped during the past weeks, but one item has still been left (PEs for my F-16).
I asked for its to expected availability which has been answered promptly.
The latest watermark mentioned was end of December.
But for this certain item it is nothing unusual as it is sold out worldwide for months.
Since I paid I have been monitoring the availability status of the same item on HLJ which record it also as "backordered".
To my surprise I received on November 19th a shipping notice about this actual "hard-to-get"-item and I expect to have it in my mail within this week.

I hope they solve their problems soon because I have some items that I ordered in June and many from September. They told me twice that they would receive the items from my June orders in September and later in November. We are in December and they still haven´t stock them.

Luckymodel is slow to re-stock some manufacturers like Voyager (or so they told me), and some items can take months to get in. If you have waited a long time for something and it shows no sign of being re-stocked, you can email them and either ask for your money back or apply the credit to something that IS in stock.
I have had nothing but good dealings with them and hope they can sort out their problems quickly. The only other Asian dealer I have had equally good results with is Hobby Easy and I can't get my browser to open their pages any longer (God's way of telling me I have too many kits already! )

Hi Raymond,
It is good to hear from you.
Yes, my creditcard was charged the same day I placed the order, ( 26 nov. a total of HKD 529,- )
I sure hope that business will be as normal very soon.
Thanks,
Gé Hovens

I too have noticed a delay in LM updating their website and in stock items. I have been waiting for over three weeks now for a Legend resin set that was listed as in stock when I ordered. I contacted LM and they told me the delay was because of labour issues with Canada Post. Okay I thought, maybe there is, but I have received numerous other parcels from outside of Canada with no problems. I really hope I have not been strung a line of ........

well, i ordered something a little over a week ago and it arrived today....so im guessing they are doing fine, just sorting things out from thier "internal" troubles.
i hope they dont go away, as I love using them...cant beat the price nor the free airmail shipping on many items!

Same here, I ordered a few PE items about a month ago, no problems whatsoever, ordered some additional PE things less than two weeks ago and they arrived yesterday. I only order what's in stock though from brands like Voyager, Griffon and Lion Roar, stuff I can't find in my local hobby store.

I did an item-by-item comparison of them and Hobbyeasy.com and found that, even figuring in the shipping, the NET price is about the same. HE has a lower item price (generally) and adds on shipping, while LM includes the small shipping charge for PE in their base price.
I mean no disrespect for LM, and I would buy from them in a heartbeat. Their website is also very user-friendly, whereas HE's is slow, cumbersome and hard to use.
