Almost done, need to make a base. Next time I think i'll lighten the yellow, the wash seemed to make it darker than i thought it would. The antenna is a little to fat but other than that i am pretty pleased for my first finished model in a long time.

Nice one Jack. Yellow looks fine to me.
What kind of base are you going to do?

Nice work Jack, as Gruber would say "A very nice little tank"

Thanks guys
I like the base you have for yours, Neo. I cut a 1/4" piece of mahogany for the base but got a dab of CA glue on it and ruined the finish, so I think I'll make a small mud patch with some grass to mount on top of the wood.

Beatiful work, Jack... Since I never had any Roden's kit in my hands, how would you rate it?
Thanks

I wasn't that great. The plastic was softer than most and there was a bit a flashing here and there. Also two really nasty voids that i puttied. But for 8$ at my local shop i though it was a pretty good buy. Getting ready to start some Dragon 1/72 kit i picked up, I can't wait.
Thanks again for the comments guys.

Interesting build, Jack. We don't have any of those kits where I live and it looks pretty nice. Your airbrushing of the camo is really nicely done. I and my SWMBO really like the way your tires turned out. It's a definite winner!
I've built two of the Airfix version and they look pathetic compared to your work.
Keep up the great work,

That is a very nice model, great job. I have always had a soft spot in my heart for Germany's eight wheeled armored cars.

Nice WIP photos. Thanks for posting those.
The build and paint looks fine. I like how you painted the dirt caught in the tread.

Jack,
Outstanding build!
This is the only 234 from Roden that is not in my pile of 72 kits. I will have to add this one to the pile now that I have seen how yours turned out. Thanks for sharing your build and hoping to see more of your stuff here.
