Hi Folks,

Advance warning that the MAFVA Nationals 2009 will take place on Sunday 212st June 2009 at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford. As is the routine we share the day at Duxford with the Military Vehicle Show, the Military Book Fair and of course the Flak Bait (I mean Flying programme...).

Saturday is available for traders to set up, and the MAFVA Tea Bar and garden will be in operation as usual. Tom Cole will be masterminding the mega- succesful Bring & Buy, John Ham & Bob Lockie will running the competitions.

Further detailed information will appear on the website in time (ie when I've typed it), but in the meantime direct any questions about the show to me.

It wasn't me Guv, I didn't even get me breakfast from the Red Lion (again!).

I'll try to find the shopping list for the Tea Stall for you.

Looking forward to it already!

Thanks Colin, great job! You beat me to it last night.

Hi Reece,

To save time, contact me direct on. [email protected] .
I will enrol you and pass on details on who does what and send your membership card.

Your being in East Anglia there is a good chance that you have a local rep or even meetings to attend and prepare more fully for the Nationals. Perhaps even assist if you wish?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Morning All,

Definitely a printing error.
Visit http://duxford.iwm.org.uk/server/show/conEvent.2796 for the Museum web page of the show.

And of course the MAFVA website.

As they say "excerement occurs".

I will drop an e-mail to the relevant people, thanks for the heads up.

I've had a reply from Ian Young Editor of Military Machines International apologising for the error. A correction will be published in the June issue.
